The author of this blog is Richard Gipps. He has a doctorate in both clinical psychology and philosophy; his philosophy doctoral thesis was a philosophical critique of cognitive theories of schizophrenia. His interests include, on the theoretical side: philosophical issues in psychology, psychotherapy and psychopathology; on the practical side: becoming a useful therapist able to engage his clients with genuine and fruitful solicitude.
This blog is for the logging of ideas and, just as importantly, for refining - and exorcising certain pathologies affecting - his writing style.
